I would recommend Rachel to anyone who wants a photographer that creates natural photos, makes you feel at ease and just fits into your day so well.
Here you will find a short description of real weddings, together with images to complete the story.
A GORGEOUS SUMMERS PRE WEDDING SHOOT, MID LOCKDOWN
- GRANT & SARAH
July 2020
Grant & Sarah were due to get married in June 2020, but due to the lockdown they were forced to move their wedding to 2021 & I cannot WAIT to photograph their wedding.
Sara contacted me on facebook regarding her wedding photography, she told me that she was based in Australia of all places & was having a blessing in the uk where all of their friends and family are from. Usually you would see people trying to flee the UK to get married...
Martine & Chris got married at St Mary's Church in Stevenage, and had their reception at the beautiful Sheene Mill in Royston. Martine got ready at her house with her bridal party. Her mum was there and her dad popped in and out as well. it was quite a chilled out morning...
Nicola & Ryan got married at the lovely Tewin Bury Farm in September 2019. It was such a beautiful, relaxed wedding from beginning to end. Nicola got ready at her mums house with her mum and bridesmaids. Nicola was so relaxed, which made for a chilled atmosphere whilst everyone was getting ready. Bucks fizz going round,
Claire & Dave had their wedding at The Barns Hotel in Bedford. It is such a stunning venue!
I have to say out of all of the types of venues barns are my ultimate favourite! I love that they do not need much decoration as they speak for themselves!
Lee & Heather got married at The Cromwell Hotel in Stevenage. It was a beautiful day in July 2019, everyone was mingling outside the venue chatting to Lee waiting for the beautiful bride Heather to arrive.
We found this lovely Sunflower field at The Pop Up Farm in St Albans, it's such a beautiful place!
Rachel and Jim wanted to go ahead with an engagement shoot before their wedding as they were feeling quite worried about having their photos taken.
"I love capturing natural and spontaneous images that as husband and wife, you will cherish for a lifetime…"
A SPRINGTIME WEDDING AT HOMESTEAD COURT HOTEL
SAM & CHARLOTTE
May 2019
Sam and Charlotte tied the knot at Homestead Court Hotel in Welwyn Garden City.Charlotte got ready in the bridal suite in the hotel with her bridesmaids. Charlotte was so relaxed and calm throughout the morning, nobody would have thought she was getting married in a few hours!
Holly & Dan got married at St Peter's Church in Tewin and had their reception at the beautiful Needham House in Little Wymondley. I arrived about 45 mins before the ceremony to capture the guests arriving and last final getting ready bits at the church. Dan didnt seem too nervous, if he was, he hid it quite well! I love shooting weddings in venues, but there is just something special...
Holly & Dan chose to have their engagement photos done at The Mimram in WGC, which is a lovely setting, lots of different photo opportunities and is just purely stunning. They brought along their 3 children, and they were a joy to photograph. They were both nervous about having their photo taken, as I am sure most people are (including me on that one!), but they were both so natural in front of the camera...
Leigh & Jack got married at Needham house in Little Wymondley. From the get-go, we all got on like a house on fire, its like we were friends already. They are such a wonderful couple and obviously very much in love! Getting married at Needham House and having the Reception in the marquee outside was a good choice by these two! Its not the first time I have been to Needham House and they didn't disappoint...
Kate & some of her family spent the morning at the venue getting ready - i think this was the first wedding i had been to where the bride was actually ready before her guests had even arrived at the venue, fashionably late! (or on time as they would probably say haha!) Neverless, the ceremony was absolutely beautiful & as was the rest of the celebrations, despite the rain but the sun decided to put his hat on for the group photos & portrait shoots...
I very much enjoyed photographing Anna + Rhys at their pre-wedding shoot or engagement. We decided to meet at Ware Priory where the couple are getting married in June this year. We had a walk round the grounds to get familiar with where they may want photographs taken on their wedding day. We walked and talked about their big day coming up and we got some pretty decent shots in between the chatting!
