Martine & Chris got married at St Mary's Church in Stevenage, and had their reception at the beautiful Sheene Mill in Royston
Getting Ready
Martine got ready at her house with her bridal party. Her mum was there and her dad popped in and out as well. it was quite a chilled out morning, until of course time creeps up on us and its time to put the dress on and all the final touches.Whilst capturing some candid pictures of them all, i also use this time that i have wisely by making sure i get detail shots of all accessories.
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place at st mary's church in shephall, i do really love a church wedding. they have such character to capture inside and out...
Church weddings are much longer than those that take place in registry offices or venues due to the religious aspect and all the readings, but i love this. It allows us photographers a little more time to capture everything, sometimes i feel a registry office wedding is over in a flash!
As we left the church, it started to rain a little bit, not that it really bothered them both to be honest!
The Evening
When we arrived at sheene, i gave martine and chris some time with their family and friends to congratulate them before i whisked everyone away for group photos and portraits.
At the reception, martine and chris had a few things to keep their guests entertained from a sweet cart table, to a photo frame where people could take their own Polaroid photos. also they had probably the best cake ever!
The last formality of the day - the first dance. i love capturing this moment for bride and grooms to reminisce over
