Kelly & Dean
Pre-Wedding Shoot | Mimram River
Another day, another couple on the blog! Featuring in this blog is the wonderful Kelly & Dean on their pre – wedding shoot at the Mimram river in WGC, Hertfordshire. We met earlier this year to discuss their wedding for 2018 (prepared i know!). We all got on like a house on fire, if i do say so myself.
A pre-wedding shoot is a good way of getting to know each other when there is a camera in the middle of us! I can learn how the couple photographs and the couple can learn how I photograph them!
I was really excited to shoot this pre-wedding shoot, as I am any shoot. I love exploring and finding new ways to photograph and new places also! I was checking the weather app daily as we was due some more heavy rain on the day of the shoot & we were all praying for good weather – he must have listened to our prayers as the sun put his hat on that evening! We met at the Mimram river & took a little walk which allowed us to catch up on what we had been up to, mainly wedding planning on Kelly’s behalf! I can’t believe how organised she is, the wedding isn’t until 2018 and she has organised most things already!
The conversation flowed and jokes were made (bad ones on my behalf more than likely) as we were walking to the different parts of the field to capture Kelly & Dean exactly how they are! I managed to capture a few spontaneous shots throughout the afternoon, as well as some formal shots. We really wanted to get some natural ones in the river, but due to the flooding we had a few days before, the whole bank was still flooded, so we had to make do with what the mimram gave us, which was some beautiful scenery, if i do say so myself.
Take a look for yourself…
